How to repair and maintain the vibrating screen?

If the vibrating screen wants to be “long-lived + efficient”, it depends on the eight-character principle of “daily cleaning, weekly lubrication, monthly inspection, and quarterly maintenance”. The following is a detailed summary of the repair and maintenance experience summarized on site for more than 10 years.

1. In order to facilitate the repair and maintenance of the screen machine, when processing the foundation, the lowest support is used as the benchmark, and the steel plate and the maintenance platform are buried.

2. The normal working temperature of the bearing should not exceed 750. Because the new exciter has a running-in process, the temperature may be slightly higher, but after running for a period of time, the temperature should stabilize. If the temperature continues to be too high, the oil level and oil cleanliness should be checked.

3. Ensure that the labyrinth groove is full of grease. When working in a dusty environment, there should be sufficient grease.

4. The connecting bolts between the exciter and the screen box are high-strength bolts. Ordinary bolts are not allowed to be replaced. The tightening condition must be checked regularly, at least once a month. If any of the bolts is loose, it will also cause other bolts to shear off, causing damage to the screen machine.

5. In order to prevent internal stress caused by welding, welding of the screen box and any auxiliary parts on site is generally not allowed. When welding is necessary, it should be performed by skilled operators. The following steps are recommended:

(1) To prevent crack extension, drill a 6mm diameter hole at each end of the crack.

(2) Use a round shovel to shovel out grooves on both sides of the crack.

(3) Preheat to about 600 degrees, use a 3mm diameter welding rod (corresponding brand), and prevent any slag and meat biting.

(4) Grind the protruding weld meat on both sides and weld on the reinforcement plate.

(5) If welding is required on the screen bracket, all welds should be parallel to the crossbeam and cannot be welded horizontally.

(6) When using AC welding, the screen box should be grounded to prevent current from passing through the bearing, otherwise it is easy to cause bearing damage.

6. A special vibration-damping rubber strip is provided between the screen and the screen bracket. In order to maximize the service life of the screen, the rubber strip should be properly located between the two. If the rubber strip is damaged, it should be replaced in time.

7. When replacing the screen, ensure that there is an equal gap between the two side plates of the screen box and the screen hook strip. First tighten the middle compression flat steel, and at the same time pull the tensioning plate to keep the surface tension of the screen uniform. Use a hammer to gently tap along the entire length to check the tension. If the contact is not good, the tension is insufficient or uneven, which is one of the important reasons for premature damage to the screen.

8. The length of the screen hook strip must be consistent with the length of the tensioning plate.

9. When disassembling the vibrator, be cautious from the outside to the inside.

10. The disassembled parts should be cleaned one by one and carefully inspected. If any damage is found, it should be repaired or replaced in time.

(1) It must be carried out in a clean operating environment. All parts to be installed must be clean and free of damage that affects the performance of the whole machine.

(2) It is not allowed to directly hit the parts with a sledgehammer or force the parts to be assembled.

(3) All bolt holes must be aligned one by one before tightening.
(4) If one bearing is damaged, the other bearing is usually also affected and damaged, and should be replaced at the same time.
