What are the common faults of concrete pump?
Location of easily blocked pumps and troubleshooting methods
1. Blockage at the outlet of the distribution valve. The outlet is blocked. Usually, the pumping system is suddenly interrupted, and there is an abnormal sound. The equipment has strong vibration, but there is no corresponding vibration in the pipeline.
Troubleshooting method: Pour cement slurry into the hopper, repeatedly start the pump in forward and reverse directions, and force the passage to open. If this method does not work, it can only be manually eliminated. Remove the connecting pipe and remove the debris in the valve.
2. The feed port is blocked. Usually, the pumping action and hydraulic system are normal, without abnormal sound and vibration. There are large aggregates or lumps in the hopper, which are stuck or arched at the feed port.
Troubleshooting method: Make the pump run in reverse to destroy the lumps, return the concrete to the hopper and re-mix it, and then pump it forward. If it does not work, it needs to be manually cleaned and eliminated.
3. The concrete delivery pipeline is blocked. When the delivery pressure gradually increases, but the material level in the hopper does not drop, the pipeline outlet does not discharge material, the pump vibrates, and the pipeline is also accompanied by strong vibration and displacement, it can be determined that the pipeline is blocked. Judgment of the blockage location: Blockage generally occurs in bends, cones, and vibrating areas.
At this time, you can use a small hammer to knock along the pipeline. The dull sound is the blockage; the crisp sound is normal. Listen with your ears. It is normal to have a rustling sound, and it is a piercing sound. The blockage at the pipe valve is gradually formed. The main reason is that after the concrete is pumped, it is not rinsed with high-pressure water in time, causing concrete to remain in the pipe. Over time, it gradually thickens, accumulates and consolidates, causing blockage. Troubleshooting method: After the concrete is pumped, be sure to rinse the pump body and S pipe with high-pressure water. When flushing is ineffective, you can use a brazing knock to remove the residue until it is completely clean.
