The jaw crusher is suitable for crushing hard materials (compressive strength < 250Mpa), such as iron ore, slag, phosphate ore, silicon ore, copper ore, limestone, quartz, ceramics and solid materials with the same hardness, such as coarse crushing of large blocks in rock ore processing plant, coarse crushing of large blocks in stone crushing plants, and coarse crushing of large blocks of limestone in cement plants. It has the characteristics of large crushing ratio, low maintenance cost, low power consumption and reliable performance. Working Principle of Jaw Crusher
The working mode of the jaw crusher is the curved extrusion type. Its working principle is: the motor drives V-belt and pulley, the movable jaw moves up and down through the eccentric wheel, when the movable jaw rises, the toggle plate approaches the fixed jaw plate, and at the same time the material is crushed or split to achieve the purpose of crushing; when the movable jaw goes down, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw becomes smaller, and the movable jaw leaves the fixed jaw under the action of the tie rod and spring. In the mean time, the crushed material has been discharged from the lower opening. With the continuous rotation of the motor, the jaws do periodic motion to crush and discharge materials to achieve mass production. The jaw crusher has the characteristics of large crushing ratio, uniform product size, simple structure, reliable operation, simple and convenient maintenance, and economical operating costs.

Q:How we do Jaw Crusher Maintenance?
Maintenance is very necessary for jaw crushers. In order to ensure the normal operation of the jaw crusher, in addition to correct operation, planned maintenance must be carried out, including daily maintenance inspections, minor repairs, medium repairs and major repairs.
- After the equipment is running normally, the feeding can be started.
- The material to be crushed should be evenly fed into the crushing cavity, and side feeding should be avoided to prevent uneven load or unilateral sudden increase.
- Under normal circumstances, the temperature rise of the bearing should not exceed 350 C, and the high temperature should not exceed 700C, otherwise it should be stopped immediately, and the cause should be identified and eliminated.
- Before stopping, the feeding work should be stopped first, and the motor can be turned off after the crushed materials in the crushing chamber are completely discharged.
- During crushing, if the machine stops due to the material blocking in the crushing cavity, the motor should be turned off immediately, and the material must be eliminated before starting again.
